Brooke Ostrander
In Memory
Brooke Ostrander

Brooke was in the business when today's "vintage" gear was just coming out. He was an original member of the legendary rock band Wicked Lester and worked at Electric Lady Studios in New York City. He went on to be a music teacher in Montana and eventually settled in Vermont.

In Vermont, Brooke was the music educator at Missisquoi Valley Union HS in Swanton. He started iconic programs like Low Profile, a credited school rock band that toured. He directed numerous pit bands, jazz bands, marching bands and concert bands. Brooke inspired many of his students to go on to be professional recording engineers, producers, musicians and educators.

In addition to being an educator, Brooke worked on various recording projects over the years and was an original partner in our previous ADAT studio. He was a dear friend and helped in the creation of AudionX.

His legacy lives on here at our studio, as well as many other studios, stages, theaters and classrooms. Most of our team was fortunate enough to have studied under him and honored to have known him.

Rest in peace friend... and thank you.
